The funeral prayer of senior bureaucrat Ruidad Khan was held at H-11 Islamabad graveyard. Roydad Khan was cremated in the H-11 cemetery.
Former Interior and Information Minister of the Union of Pakistan, Rawad Khan, passed away yesterday in Islamabad.
The funeral prayer of Ruidad Khan was attended by General R. Abdul Qayyum, Senator Faisal Jaoud, former Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, many officials, former generals and ordinary citizens.
It should be noted that Ruidad Khan, who hails from a small village in Mardan, was appointed to various important positions during his long career. Ruidad Khan has also served as Sindh Chief Secretary, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Secretary, PTV CEO, Tourism Ministry Secretary and Labor Ministry Secretary.
Apart from this, Roydad Khan was the Minister of Interior, Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Minister for Accountability and Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the President of Pakistan.
Late Ruidad Khan was always active for Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal’s Pakistan. Roydad Khan was also the Chairman of Margella Hills Company.
According to Roydad Khan’s request, former Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry stopped the process of setting up a housing company on the other side by removing the tunnel from the Margala Hills.
Late Roydad Khan actively participated in the movement for an independent judiciary. Late Roydad Khan always termed corruption as the biggest problem in this country. The late senior bureaucrat Rawad Khan loved trees and beautiful landscapes.
