These centers will be given permission to take a driving test and issue a driving license.
- A fine of 25,000 rupees for driving by a minor – Driving without a license or at high speed will result in heavy fines. Now the fine for this is between 1 and 2,000 rupees. At the same time, if a minor is caught driving, action will be taken against the parents and a fine of 25,000 rupees will be imposed. Apart from that, the vehicle owner’s registration certificate will be canceled and the minor will not be entitled to a license until the age of 25.
- Documentation will be simpler – The office will streamline the documentation required for new licenses. It is adapted to the type of vehicle (two-wheeler or two-wheeler). This will reduce the need for physical inspection at the RTO.
