Madhopur: A heartbreaking incident took place on the Delhi-Mumbai expressway where six people died on the spot after an unidentified vehicle collided with the car of the devotees who were on their way to see God.

This horrific road accident happened on the Delhi-Mumbai expressway early this morning when an unknown vehicle hit the car of a devotee who was going to visit Trinetra Ganesha at Ranthambore under the jurisdiction of Bownli Police Station in Sawai Madhopur district here. As a result, six people in the car died on the spot.

When the police received information about the accident and arrived at the scene, they were shocked to see the situation there. At the moment, the police have kept the bodies of the dead in the mortuary of the local hospital. According to the police, the accident happened at around 7am on Sunday.

At around 7am today, a family was driving to visit Trinetra Ganeshji in Ranthambore. At the same time, an unknown vehicle collided with his car near Banas Pulia under Bownli police station. As a result, six people traveling in the car died on the spot. Two children of this family who were traveling in the car were seriously injured in the accident.

As soon as the local police received the information about the accident, they filed the information and the victims of the accident were said to be from Sikar area. But the police were shocked to see the situation there too. Later, the injured and the deceased were immediately taken to a local hospital by ambulance. Doctors announced that six had died there. Treatment of the injured has begun. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the person who died in the accident was from Sikar area.

The police have informed the families of the victims of the accident. Family members are busy identifying the injured. Senior officers who got information about the accident reached the spot and the hospital. The cause of the accident is not yet known. It is not yet known which vehicle hit the car.
