It has been learned that 10 people died on the spot after this terrible road accident took place on the Srinagar highway in Jammu and Kashmir late on Friday night ie around 1.15 am. Police and SDRF team immediately rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident. According to preliminary information, it has been learned that the car lost control of the driver and fell into a ravine 300 feet deep in the morning.

Officials have given this information that an SUV car fell into a deep gorge on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir around 1.15 am on Friday, resulting in the death of ten people on the spot.

The car involved in the accident was heading towards Jammu from Srinagar and fell into a 300 feet deep ravine at around 1:15 am in Batri Chashma area of ​​Ramban. Ten people died in this accident. Police and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) personnel rushed to the spot after receiving information. Officials said the bodies of ten passengers were found amid heavy rain.

The dead have been identified as 47-year-old auto driver Balwan Singh of Amb Garota village in Jammu and Vipin Mukhia Bhairgang of West Champaran in Bihar, officials said. Rescue operations are underway at the site, officials said. At present, the bodies of the dead have been admitted to the local hospital for a post-mortem examination.
