On Friday night in Bilaspar, Chhattisgarh, female students of Guru Gasidas Central University along with ABVP workers created a ruckus. The female students started creating a ruckus outside the hostel demanding immediate fulfillment of their pending demands, including chaos. The female students broke through the gate of the hostel and came out with loud shouts. The demonstration continued until 3:30 am on Saturday. In fact, the warden prevented the female students of the hostel from going to the comprehensive voter awareness program organized by the district administration at the university, because of which they were angry. The students say that the warden here behaves like Hitler. They are disturbed by his dictatorial attitude. Due to the commotion, the district administration organized a program on Friday evening at the university campus under ‘widespread voter awareness’, in which the program ‘Sweet Music Festival was a meeting of democracy and music’. All students were invited to it. However, the Principal did not allow the female students of Bilasa Devi Girls Hostel to participate in the programme. Started showing the lift to the NC staff, closed now the students got angry and broke the gate of the hostel with their old demands including problems in the hostel and created a ruckus. The female students said that a lift was started in the four-storey hostel to introduce the NAAC team, which was closed within a week. Along with the provision of delicate and non-standard food in the mess, the female students also proposed demands such as the provision of medical facilities. ABVP officials said – Khanapurti is provided only in the name of facilities ABVP president Aaradhya Tiwari said that demand has been made many times to remove the irregularities in the hostels. Even after that, the university administration did not notice. Here only food is provided in the name of the facilities. The ABVP minister, Shashank Sonwani, said that this is the reason why the female students are forced to protest. This demonstration by the female students continued until 3:30 in the morning on Saturday. During this time, many officers of the university including the vice chancellor and the registrar stayed at the place all night. Students danced at the event of District Administration and Smart City Earlier many songs related to patriotism were presented in the university campus. Voters were motivated to vote through songs. The students gave a colorful presentation in the program ‘Music Festival for Tata, Democracy and Sanjat Ka Sangam’ organized by the District Administration and the Smart City Corporation.
