ABU DHABI (International Desk) The United Arab Emirates Fatwa Council has announced the amount of Zakat, along with the amount of expiation for breaking fast in different circumstances of the month of Ramadan this year.. The price of Zakat al-Fitr is 25 dirhams in money prepared per person Or the price of 2.5 kg of rice per person is fixed.

Fitrana is paid on the last day of Ramadan and is obligatory on all Muslims – men, women, young and old – who can give Zakat financially or in the form of food.
