India has become a militarily powerful country. We want to maintain good relations with our neighbors. This is what the country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has to say. He was referring to an election program in Ahmedabad. During this, while answering the question asked by Rahul Gandhi about China, he said that the talks between India and China are going smoothly. India will never bow down. I think we should wait for the results of the talks. I want to assure the people of the country that India has never bowed anywhere and will never bow.
Defense exports will increase further in the future
The Union Minister expressed confidence that India’s defense exports will increase further in the coming period. He said that in 2104 we exported defense material worth 600 million rupees but today in 2023-2024 this figure has crossed 21 thousand million rupees. I can tell it will grow even more. The Modi government is committed that defense items, be they missiles, bombs, tanks or any other weapon, should be made only in India and by Indians.
This is the reason for the border dispute between China and India
China’s military invasion in May 2020 escalated the conflict in the Galwan Valley, the worst military conflict between India and China in decades. According to the Chinese military, the two sides have so far agreed to disengage at four points – Galwan Valley, Pangong Lake, Hot Springs and Jianan Daben (Gogra), which will help reduce border tension. But talks on reaching a similar agreement in Dapsang and Demchuk have reached an impasse, with the Indian side pressing for a solution to the two existing problems.
