The state government is working continuously on the accident that occurred on Saturday evening in the city of Rajkot in Gujarat. Now the government has ordered the suspension of five police officers, including two police inspectors and civilian employees, with immediate effect for negligence.

Let us tell you that 27 people, including 12 children, died due to a massive fire in the TRP play area. The owner and manager of ‘Game Zone’ were taken into custody after the accident. The case is being investigated by the Special Investigation Team (SIT).

A government announcement said that officials were responsible for allowing the play area to operate without necessary permits. He is accused of negligence. What should be noted is that the center where the fire broke out on Saturday was conducted without a fire certificate (No Objection Certificate).

Rajkot Police Commissioner Raju Bhargava told reporters on Sunday, “The play area has received permission from the Roads and Buildings Department. The owner of the play area also submitted proof of fire safety equipment to obtain a fire NOC, which was in progress and not yet completed.’

These people have been suspended

The government’s action to suspend five officials comes a day after Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inspected the site of the fire on Saturday and ordered the concerned departments to take strict and punitive action against those responsible for such a serious incident. Those suspended include Rajkot Corporation Town Planning Department Assistant Engineer Jaideep Chaudhary, RMC Assistant Town Planner Gautam Joshi, Rajkot Roads and Buildings Deputy Senior Engineer MR Suma and Police Inspectors VR Patel and NI Rathod.

The dead included 12 children under the age of 12.

Rajkot Assistant Commissioner of Police Radhika Bharai said 27 people were confirmed dead. The bodies were completely burned. In such a situation, it is difficult to identify them. ACP Vinayak Patel said the dead included at least 12 children below the age of 12. According to the police, due to the school holidays, a large number of children had come to the TRP Game Zone to play with their parents.
