Regarding the incident, the owner of the house, Roshan Kumar, said that all the family members had gone to Kolkata to attend the wedding. There was only father at home and he went to Patna for work for one day and meanwhile there was a theft at home. When he returned he saw that the lock on the main gate of the house was broken and all the belongings in the house were scattered. All the locks on the trunk and the fences of the house were broken. Thieves stole Rs 30,000 in cash and many valuables, including jewelery worth Rs 4 lakh, from the house. In this regard, Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Kumar said that after receiving a written complaint regarding the incident, further action will be taken by registering an FIR. At this point, the people nearby are being interrogated. Also, CCTV footage installed nearby is carefully checked.
