Bhaskar Lohardaga News: The upcoming Lok Sabha elections will be held in Lohardaga on 13 May. Lohardaga Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Petrol Pump Dealers, representatives from all the markets and traders were present in the chamber under the chairmanship of Municipal Council Administrator Jaipal Singh to spread awareness among the voters to exercise their franchise in the elections and to increase the percentage of vote. To increase the votes in the meeting, petrol pump operator Sanjay Burman said last time there was about 67 percent voting in Lohardaga parliamentary constituency and this time to increase more than 80 percent votes, stickers were used on vehicles like cars, truck, bike, pickup etc. It was suggested to install flex in petrol pumps, flex in vegetable shops and other establishments, and run an audio appeal in the markets to vote. Chamber President Ritesh Kumar said suggestions were given by school teachers through their students to motivate parents to vote, play audio at the railway station, put flex on barricades, do Prabhat Pheri. Monu Poddar, Umesh Lakra, Niranjan Kumar, Anoop Kumar, Shivnath Soni, Pankaj Singh, Akash Verma etc. were present in the meeting. The city administrator also distributed stickers and jute bags as promotional material among the people present.
