Guwahati: The OMC (Oil Marketing Companies) on Monday announced reduction in prices of 19 kg commercial cylinders and 5 kg FTL (Free Trade LPG) cylinders, effective April 1, 2024.

The revised prices of commercial cylinders in Guwahati are now reduced by ₹1974 on 32.

Prices in Delhi were reduced by $30.50 for a 19 kg commercial cylinder from April 1, after being set at $1764.50, according to reports.
The price of a 5 kg FTL cylinder has dropped by ₹7.50. On March 1, oil marketing companies announced an increase in the prices of commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders.
This update in prices came during fluctuations in fuel costs and market dynamics.
On February 1, Indan gas cylinder prices varied across metro cities, with Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai having different rates.
However, with the advent of March 1, consumers have witnessed a marked increase in the prices of Indane GPG gas cylinders in all metro cities.
