According to a foreign news agency, the American space agency NASA has started financing a project to build a railway system on the moon and transfer people and equipment to Mars.
In this regard, a report states that a NASA program officer (NIAC) said that NASA will work on projects that sound like science fiction, but there is no guarantee that they will be implemented soon.
He expressed hope that these visions may become reality any day in the future.
NASA officials said the projects include an advanced lunar rail system, telescopes and transport systems to transport humans and equipment to Mars. There are a total of six projects for this purpose, and the organization has passed the preliminary stages of these.
He further said that in the second phase, these projects will raise USD 600,000 over the next two years for further research.
