The police custody of HD Revanna, son of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda and accused of abducting the victim in the Karnataka sex scandal, has been extended till May 14. A case of kidnapping has been registered against them at the KR Nagar police station in the city. SIT officials arrested him on May 4.

Former chief minister HD Ravana’s son and grandson Prajwal Ravana, who were involved in the Karnataka sex scandal, have been accused of sexual exploitation. MP Prajwal Ravana fled the country after that. It is alleged that the victim’s mother was kidnapped through HD Revanna. HD Ravana, son of JD(S) patriarch and former prime minister HD Deve Gowda, and his confidant Satish Babana were booked on April 29 for the woman’s abduction. HD Revanna applied for bail to the court. During the hearing of the case on Wednesday, the court rejected his bail plea and sent him to judicial custody till May 14.

Kumaraswamy said a conspiracy was suspected

Janata Dal (Secular) leader HD Kumaraswamy said 25,000 pen drives containing videos of the sex scandal involving his nephew and the party’s Mahsan candidate, Prajwal Ravana, were distributed before the elections.

Allegations against CM and Deputy CM also

JDS said, ‘When elections were held, who distributed these videos and pens. CM has said 100 times that HD Kumaraswamy and JDS candidates will lose. Kumaraswamy said the government has formed SIT to investigate the case, I thought SIT will investigate the case impartially, but now I feel this SIT is Siddaramaiah, Shivakumar’s investigation team.
