17 lakh 59 thousand 210 voters will exercise their franchise in 1756 polling booths set up in 923 buildings in West Champaran Lok Sabha constituency. 8 candidates are contesting from West Champaran Lok Sabha seat. In this, apart from the three assembly constituencies of Champaran West Constituencies, Batia, Chanpattia and Nautan, the remaining three constituencies, Sugauli, Narkatiya and Raxaul, fall in East Champaran district. Teams from many departments including para military force, CAPF, Bihar Police have been deployed for security arrangements. Everyone came to the polls and took command.

10-10 vehicles will be in reserve in each block.

The polling party walked out of the dispatch centers on Friday for the sixth phase of voting for the 18th Lok Sabha elections in the district on Saturday. 1807 vehicles were made available to them in order to ensure that the polling station would not face any problem in transporting them to the polling stations.

Anil Kumar Sinha, a senior officer in the vehicle cell and district public relief officer, said that if the vehicles of the polling party have a breakdown, then they will not have to depend on the vehicles that will come from the district headquarters. Vehicles will be provided to them from the appropriate block headquarters only.

According to him, on the order of the district election officer, 10 vehicles each were kept in reserve for the BDO in each block. which includes a scorpion, a van and other small vehicles.

Two vehicles were also provided to each police station.

To ensure that security forces do not have to deal with the vehicle problem on polling day, each police station in the district has been instructed to keep two vans in reserve. Apart from this, 10 bicycles each have been made available to QRT staff at 9 police stations viz Nagar, Mofussil, Chanpatia, Yogapatti etc. police station. While the other 22 police stations got five bikes each. Besides, fuel is also provided in this bike.

Tight security arrangements in 685 critical polling stations and 306 vulnerable polling stations.

50 percent of booths in the district will be under the supervision of webcasts or closed-circuit cameras. A special vigil will be maintained at 685 critical polling stations and 306 vulnerable polling stations. Employees of the central organization have been designated as tiny observers to monitor such booths and monitor the voting process.
