In the poll held on Saturday, 66.86% people voted in Giridih, 66.92% in Jamshedpur, 60.40% in Dhanbad and the least 61.93% in Ranchi. In Ranchi and Bokaro, people used the voting holidays by staying at home. In this election, fewer voters in urban areas came out to vote, while there was a good turnout in rural areas. If we look at the assembly wise urban areas, 55.10% voted in Dhanbad, 54.54% in Jharia and 54.90% in Ranchi. Talking about rural areas, maximum votes were cast in Ichagarh at 76.55%, Potka at 73.12%, Jugsalai at 69.25% and Chandankiyari assembly constituency at 70.97%.

Only 1 vote was cast in booth 1 in Dhalbhumgarh. While there are a total of 1069 voters here. When not a single vote was cast until noon, many officials came out to convince the people. Finally, they got a chance to bring Kartik Singh to the booth. In fact, the people of Chhabisa and Chhodiya villages had demanded the construction of a bridge at Pampu Ghat on the Swarnarekha River and the construction of an eight km road from Pampu Ghat to the Narsinghgarh railway gate. But it didn’t work. After this people decided to boycott the vote.
