The ongoing investigation into the murder of Bangladesh MP Anwarul Azim Anar has taken a new turn. In fact, West Bengal Crime Investigation Department (CID) officials claimed on Saturday that there could be a gold smuggling angle behind his murder.
The investigators claimed that a rift over gold smuggling between Anar and his friend (a US citizen and his business partner) may be the reason for the crime.
