The polling is to be held in West Singhbhum, Lohardaga and Palamu parliamentary constituencies on 13 May 2024. In connection with this, the district police personnel, Jharkhand Arms Police, Central Industrial Security Force etc. exercised their franchise through postal voting on Sunday. For this, as per the instructions of District Elections Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav, the soldiers exercised their franchise between 9.30 am and 5 pm in Ispat High School Sector-2C and Police Center Sector-12. Provision of basic facilities was ensured for the voters at the two established convenience centres. A total of 168 voters in the two centers took part in the great democracy festival by exercising their franchise through a ballot paper.
