Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s elder brother Sombhai Modi got emotional remembering his mother on the day of the third phase of voting. He said his mother Hiraban Modi will give her blessing to PM Modi from heaven. Sombhai Modi said that like others, he too wants to see his brother become Prime Minister for the third time.
PM Modi always used to visit his mother at Mauna in Gandhinagar, Gujarat before casting his vote. Let us tell you that Khirvan Modi passed away in December 2022. “My mother is no more in this world. But she will still give her blessings to Narendrabhai from heaven,” Sombhai said with tears in his eyes outside the polling booth.
Sombhai met his brother Prime Minister Modi outside the polling booth. During this time the two brothers inquired after each other’s well-being. PM Modi’s brother said, “Like the people here, I too want Narendra Modi to be the Prime Minister for the third time.” He appealed to the people to exercise their franchise and elect the right leader by voting for the right party.
Let us tell you that before this Prime Minister Narendra Modi also became emotional while recalling his mother in an interview. He said that this was the first election in which he submitted a candidacy in the absence of his mother.
