New Delhi: Lok Sabha Election has started in the country. The first two steps have been successfully completed. Now preparations are underway for the third phase. All the parties have released their manifestos to attract the voters regarding the elections. In this regard, the Congress party promised to provide many privileges to the Muslim community. Seeing this manifesto, BJP criticized that it was Congress manifesto or Muslim League manifesto, and that Modi also attacked Congress. Once again he shared his opinion in an exclusive interview with Nyddion18.

In an interview, Rahul Joshi, Managing Director of 18 Network Group, directly attacked the Congress manifesto at a rally in Rajasthan. You have accused them of having a plan to distribute wealth, find out who has savings, how much money, how much gold and silver they have and distribute it to Muslims and infiltrators, is the threat true? Do you see it that way? He asked.

Prime Minister Modi replied, “The Congress manifesto is a concern. Are manifestos of political parties something very prominent during elections? Someone please tell me. It is the job of the media to read the manifesto of every political party. But I was waiting about the media to read the Congress party manifesto and give feedback on it When I saw the manifesto, I thought the media would be shocked to see it, but what was written in the manifesto, I think it’s a big scam from the media system. “I was waiting for 10 days for someone to bring out those evils in the manifesto because it would be better if they were brought out impartially. Finally, the situation forced me to bring these facts out.”

Modi’s response to Manmohan Singh’s viral video

A video from 2006 is going viral where former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh says that poor Muslims have the first right to resources. He has stated this clearly. -You also made a point that Congress wanted to take part of the Outline Business Case allocation and give it to Muslims. Between 2004-2014 you claimed he tried to do this four or five times? Tell me about it?

PM Modi: You have asked a very interesting question. The answer to this can be very long. But, for the sake of the country, I have to tell you. You look at the history of Congress. This demand by the Congress to distribute wealth to Muslims has been coming since the 1990s. There was a large part of society that felt that something should be done for them (Muslims), for which there was a protest. Before 1990, the Congress opposed and completely suppressed this protest. Later he formed commissions and committees to report on this. But even those reports started coming in favor of OBCs. But the Congress rejected the opinion of the committees and rejected and stopped the report. But after the vote of the 90s bank politics decided that something had to be done.

In the 90s, the Congress itself opposed the classification of Muslims as OBCs

So what was the first sin they committed? In the 90s, they decided to classify Muslims as OBCs in Karnataka. But at first he had repressed and rejected this idea. But, for political gain, they labeled Muslims as an Outline Business Case. The Congress party was then removed from the centre. The project was shelved until 2004. When the Congress came back in 2004, it immediately decided to give OBC quota to Muslims in Andhra Pradesh. The matter was messy in court. The Indian Parliament had decided to reserve 27% for OBCs as per the original intention of the Constitution. Now, he said, he tried to acquire this 27 percent quota.

Contempt in the Supreme Court

In 2006, there was a meeting of the National Development Council where Singh’s statement caused a huge uproar. Then he remained silent for two years. It was proposed again in the 2009 manifesto. In 2011, there was a cabinet note on this where they decided to give the OBC share to Muslims. He tried this in UP elections too but to no avail. In 2012, the Andhra High Court overturned it. He went to the Supreme Court, where he was not relieved either. The 2014 manifesto also explained about detention on the basis of religion. There was no RSS or BJP when the Constitution of India was formed. Great men like Pandit Nehru and Babasaheb Ambedkar were present there who, after thinking for a long time, decided that there can be no reservation on the basis of religion in a country like India. But Congress wants to give religious reservation again.

Look at his manifesto for the 2024 elections. It bears the stamp of the Muslim League. The way they disregard the constitution, insult Ambedkar, threaten to keep SCs and STs. Shouldn’t the people of the country be informed about this? He explained that I believe it is the responsibility of the rich in knowledge, the impartial, all those who have been taught to educate this country, to convey the right things.
