Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Sunday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Amit Shah and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis worked for Nitin Gadkari’s defeat in the Lok Sabha elections. Raut said Fadnavis worked for Gadkari even unwillingly. Let us tell you that Nitin Gadkari is contesting from Nagpur and it is the hometown of both the BJP leaders (Fadnavis, Gadkari).
In an article in Shiv Sena’s (UBT) mouthpiece Saamana, Sanjay Raut wrote, “Prime Minister Modi, Shah and Fadnavis worked for the defeat of Nitin Gadkari in Nagpur. When Fadnavis realized that he could not be defeated, he worked for Gadkari even though he wanted RSS people say that Fadnavis worked for the opposition to defeat Gadkari.”
