Fourth visit to Karnataka after announcement of general election dates
Let us tell you, earlier the Karnataka unit of BJP said that PM Modi will address two public meetings today in Bangalore and Chikkaballapura. He will address a public meeting at Chokkahali village in Chikbalpura at around 2 pm. The party has made former health minister K Sudhakar its candidate from this seat. The Prime Minister will then leave for Bangalore and address a public meeting in the palace grounds at 4:00 PM. The city of Bangalore is a BJP stronghold, as all three of its MPs are from the BJP.
This will be the Prime Minister’s fourth visit to Karnataka after the announcement of the Lok Sabha election schedule. Their first meeting was held in Kalburagi, the home constituency of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, on March 16, the day the election dates were announced. His next public meeting was at Shivamuga. On April 14, Modi was in Mysore and Mangaluru.
Prime Minister Modi should respond
Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said the Chief Minister has every right to come and campaign for the party. Also, the Prime Minister will have to talk about our taxes, this is our right. He did not give drought relief money. Why wasn’t the money that was supposed to be allocated in the budget given to the water project in Hedra? They will have to answer all of this. We don’t want to support anyone. The Kannadigs are demanding their rights
