Hemkumar Sahu (28), a resident of Butipali village, told the police that Mahendra Patel, a resident of Kanchanpur village, had hired his JCB. The fare for the same was Rs 12,400 left. To collect this, he went to Kanchanpur village on May 19 with his servant Tirat Soni on bicycle number CG 06 GX 4470.

Robbery of money in an assault

When he did not meet Mahendra Patel, he went to his village via Drumpur. Meanwhile, some people blocked his way around 9.30 pm near the dirt road between Kanchanpur and Drumpur village. They beat him and looted Rs 9,000 from his pocket. Then he started demanding one lakh rupees. During this period his bicycle was also taken into custody.

Transfer money from friend to phone-pay

On this he called his friend S Kumar Chaudhary and asked for money. One of the accused revealed his name as Farmanand and gave his phone number. S Kumar Chaudhary transferred 43 thousand rupees 300 to the number of accused. After that, he transferred Rs 6,000 from his account to pay the phone of the accused in the name of Ajay. In this way 58 thousand 300 rupees were robbed.

Four accused were arrested

Now after the complaint, the police brought Parmanand Patel (35), a resident of Navagaon village, Nanish Patel (24), a resident of Garderha, Ajay Sau (23) and Manish Bagh (20) to the police station and questioned them. All admitted involvement in the robbery. The police seized from the accused the stolen amount of 58 thousand 300 rupees, 3 mobile phones that were used in the incident and sent the accused to remand.
