The application proposes a change of zoning from a hair salon and beauty salon to vacant premises at 44 HaTala Street.
The proposals also state that the institution will have a cold food menu serving cold plates such as antipasti and the like.
The plans include facade changes including changing the store front from an angle with a recess to a straight one with the door in the center.
A drawing of the proposed layout shows a lounge bar area, servery, cellar/liquor store and unisex toilets.
The application, now awaiting a decision, was received by the council on Friday 5th April and approved on Friday 12th April.
