Police team with the arrested accused.
On Monday, the police unearthed the famous Pinto murder case in the Kadrange police station area of Patna’s Masauri sub-division. Police have arrested Pinto’s four friends, Gunjan Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Roshan Kumar and a minor in this case. Police also seized Rs 1.59 lakh, four mobile phones and land documents. Masaurhi SDPO Nabh Vaibhav said that with the intention of kidnapping Rs 5 lakh, Pinto’s friend Gunjan Kumar along with his friends beat Pinto to death. After the incident, his body was dumped near Diwan Bridge for disposal.
