Bhaskar News A three day cricket match was organized at BS College Cricket Stadium for election awareness campaign under SVEEP program under Lohardaga Yuva Sadbhavna Manch. Where the match will be played between Lohardaga Cricket Training Centre, Bhandara Cricket Club and Pesharar Cricket Club. In this sequence, a match was played between Peshawar vs Bhandara Cricket Club on Friday. When Bhandara team won the victory and batted first and scored 185 runs losing 7 wickets in 30 overs. For the team, Tanmay contributed 45 runs, Pankaj 25 and Saurabh contributed 23 runs. Peshawar bowlers Manish, Vipul and Akhilesh took two wickets each. The Peshawar team came out to play the counter innings and registered a win after losing 6 wickets. On behalf of the team, Sumit scored 57 runs, Abhishek scored 35 runs and Rohit scored 25 runs. Bhandra bowlers Arbaaz and Mohit took two wickets each. While Peshawar team won the match by 4 wickets. Sumit Kumar was chosen as the man of the match. Cricket coach Amit Kumar informed the players about the Lok Sabha elections to be held in Lohardaga on May 13. He asked all the players to mobilize their home and nearby people to vote. Jagjit Choubey, Arun Mahato, Pankaj, District Cricket Association Joint Secretary Durga Prajapati and others were present on the occasion.
