26 candidates are contesting from Muzaffarpur.
80 candidates are in the fray for five Lok Sabha seats in Bihar’s fifth phase. Two candidates withdrew their names on the day of cancellation of nominations. The deadline for canceling nominations is set for Monday. One candidate from Sitamarhi and one from Saran withdrew their names. After the withdrawal of nominations, 14 candidates each are trying their luck in the election battle for these two Lok Sabha seats. At this stage, the maximum number of candidates is in Muzaffarpur. A total of 26 candidates are competing from here. A total of 12 candidates are contesting for the Madhubani Lok Sabha seat. A total of 14 candidates are trying their luck in Hajipur as well.
