12 hours sutta recitation will be held at Mahavihar on Buddha Jayanti
Buddha Jayanti celebrations will be organized on Thursday 23rd May in the courtyard of Nava Nalanda Mahavihar, Nalanda under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The Mahavihar family is making grand preparations to make Buddha Jayanti memorable.

The Pattana Sutta will be recited by Buddhist monks for 12 hours on May 22, the eve of Buddha Jayanti. The next day, Thursday, from 10:00 am onwards, floral tributes will be offered in front of the Buddha statue in the puja room of Shantideva International Hostel. He will remember lighting incense sticks. The Dhammachakkappavattana Sutta will then be recited by Buddhist monks. Anapana meditation will take place for half an hour. After that the Acharyas and Deputy Prime Minister of Mahabihar Prof. Rajesh Ranjan will turn.
