West Singhbhum participants had an outstanding performance in the state level Yoga Olympiad competition organized by GCERT Ranchi. In the high school level boys category, Karthik Kumar, a student of Mangilal Rungta Plus Two High School, got the first position. Also in the girls’ category, Deeksha Sonkar, a student from St. Mary’s High School for Girls. Xavier, got first place. At the middle school level, Shivam Kumar Pandey, a student of Shri Marwari Hindi Middle School, had the honor of securing the third position in the boys’ category. All these winning participants will go to Mysore, Karnataka next month to participate in the National Olympiad competition.
The competition will be held between 18 and 21 June. West Singhbhum Yoga Association President Mukund Rungta, Vice President Pradeep Pasari, Vice President Sunil Kumar Prajapati Secretary Kanhaiyalal Aggarwal have congratulated all Vijay participants and their coach Sumit Vishwakarma for their success and extended best wishes for the Olympiad competition National Yoga.
