A 27-year-old youth riding a bike died while his father was injured after being hit by a car near Ghughera village on the Palwal-Sohna road. On the complaint of the injured father of the deceased, the Gadpuri police station registered a case against the unidentified car driver and conducted a post-mortem of the dead body and informed his family.

According to officer-in-charge of Gadpuri police station Rajveer Singh, Harichand Saini, a resident of Ward No. 15 of Sohna city in Gurugram district, said in the complaint that his son Surajpal used to work at POSCO Maruti agency in Alipore. He and his son Surajpal were going to Palwal on a bicycle to do some personal work. The bike was being driven by his son Surajpal and he was sitting behind.
The accident happened near Ghughera village.
When he reached the Hanuman temple near Ghughera village on Sohna Road, a car coming from Palwal hit his bike right in front. Surajpal, who was riding a bicycle, was seriously injured in the collision with the car, while he suffered minor injuries.
When he started taking care of his son, the accused driver fled the scene along with the car. The victim arranged for another vehicle and took his son to the District Civil Hospital for treatment. But doctors at the district hospital declared Surajpal dead.
Gadpuri police station has registered a case against the unidentified driver of the car based on the complaint. The police say that efforts are being made to identify the accused driver, he will be arrested soon.
