Pakistan’s iCube Qamar satellite has successfully sent the first image of the moon’s orbit Achi-News

Pakistan’s lunar satellite, iCube Qamar, has sent its first image from orbit after successfully completing three orbits of the moon. Qamar’s iCube was launched on May 3 from Henan, China on the China Chang’e-6.

According to Pakistan’s Space and Upper Atmospheric Research Commission (SPARCO), Qamar’s iCube entered the moon’s orbit on May 8. The satellite has two cameras that take pictures of the moon from a distance of 200 km.

According to the Institute of Space Technology, the ICUBE-Q satellite was designed and developed by IST in collaboration with China’s Shanghai University SJTU and Pakistan’s National Space Agency Sparco is the sixth in a series of Chinese lunar exploration missions.
