Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that Pakistan is ready to send its cricket team to India.
Ahsan Iqbal said that sports should be kept separate from politics, there was tension between Pakistan and India in the past but it did not affect sports, India sent its team to Pakistan for Champions Trophy.

He said that the government cannot provide resources for sports alone, departments will be taken together.
Ahsan Iqbal said that sports are unfortunately neglected in Pakistan, the biggest mistake was the elimination of sports fields.
Ahsan Iqbal said that there is a strong effort to organize safe matches in Pakistan in 2025, a plan has been made to organize a hockey league in the style of Pakistan Super League.
