Islamabad (Web Desk) The 13th meeting of the collaboration committee established between Pakistan and China on CPEC was held in Islamabad In the meeting, it was agreed to propose ML-1 project to modernize the Karachi to Peshawar railway.

Regarding this latest development in CPEC, Federal Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said that under CPEC, it has been agreed on the ML1 project proposal, which should be completed during the Prime Minister’s visit to China

According to Ahsan Iqbal, the project of ML-1 will cost 6 billion 80 million dollars, this project will be completed in phases.

It was also agreed to increase cooperation in the agro-industrial and mining sectors
According to Federal Minister K, in the Pak-China joint meeting, it was also agreed to increase cooperation in the agricultural, industrial and mining sectors under the second phase of CPEC, including the completion of 1800 MW hydropower projects.

Federal Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal says arrears of China’s power projects in Pakistan under CPEC have exceeded 500 billion rupees.

The federal minister says that Pakistan-China friendship is very deep and mature, if it was any other country, it would have taken Pakistan to the international arbitration court by now.
