- 1450 policemen deployed from East Singhbhum district for the first phase of elections in Palamu, patrolling stopped, vehicles parked in the building at CCR.
For the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections in the country and the first phase of Jharkhand, 1450 personnel of East Singhbhum District Police have been deployed on Palamu election duty. It has 1100 constables and Halvdars and 350 ASI and SI rank officers. After deployment of policemen on election duty, patrols have stopped in the city. Because CCR officers patrol vehicles going on election duty from the highway to city intersections, the vehicles are parked at CCR.
