Lahore: District and Sessions Judge Lahore Syed Ali Imran took an important step and ordered to provide mid-day meal to the accused kept in Bakshi Khanas, after which the food supply was started.
On the orders of District and Sessions Judge Syed Ali Imran, the administration started providing food to the detained accused brought from the jails to be heard in court.
The court has ordered to provide mid-day meal to the accused who is detained in the Bakshi Khanas of Cantt Kachari, District Kachhari and Model Town Kachhari and according to this order, the mid-day meal has ‘to start from today the accused who is regularly detained is gone
Lahore Sessions Judge Syed Ali Imran said that providing lunch will help the accused, and providing food by the administration will also help in drug prevention.
The judge said that other illegal activities including weapons in Bakshi Khans will stop.
The Sessions Judge Lahore has also formed a three member committee under the chairmanship of Additional Sessions Judge Jahanzeb Chatta in this regard.
