KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange Index touched new highs during the first trading session.

The Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a rally since the opening of business on Friday and the index gained 100 956 points to touch the 76,000 level for the first time.

At the end of the first session in the market, the 100 index stood at 76 thousand 70, which is the highest level ever. During the trading session, 15.32 crore shares were traded in the first session.
