On Thursday, NSUI students’ organization burnt an effigy of CBI in protest against the fraud in the matter of granting recognition to nursing colleges and subsequent bribery of lakhs of rupees by a CBI official in the name of investigation.

NSUI workers reached Tower Chowk in the afternoon, alleging massive corruption in fraudulently recognizing 308 nursing colleges in Madhya Pradesh. Here he raised slogans against CBI. NSUI District President Himanshu Sharma said strict action should be taken against those who are playing with the future of students, which also includes officials of the investigating agency CBI. In protest against this, today NSUI student organization activists demonstrated at Tower Chowk and burnt the effigy of CBI while raising slogans. Police personnel who were present at the scene during the students’ demonstration extinguished the fire by pouring water on the statue.
