A Turkish food restaurant on Spring Garden Road in Halifax suffered “minimal damage” following a fire on Tuesday afternoon.
Halifax Fire and Emergency Area Chief Dave Slaunwhite says crews responded to Turkish Delight around 12:20 p.m.
Slaunwhite says the fire was found in a pipework leading to the roof of the building.
The crews were able to dismantle the pipework and extinguish the fire.
No injuries were reported.
Part of Spring Garden Road was closed to vehicles while crews responded to the scene.
