We asked earlier today if the latest brand to throw shade at Rishi Sonak would close shop after Waitrose, Ryanair and Caris all joined in the fun at the embattled Prime Minister’s expense.
And it turns out we weren’t quite as kidding as we thought after Aldi became the latest retailer to pile up, and we’ve never known an election Sunday like it.
It all started when the good people of @NoContextBrits asked this, after the Prime Minister’s most unfortunate election launch on Wednesday.

Ugh.
I would suggest that when a supermarket is confident enough to do things like this without feeling like they risk alienating their customers, you’re done. https://t.co/zWpoEEwNBW
