More than 616 houses were damaged across Tripura after heavy rains and a storm lashed the state on Sunday. According to a detailed report by the State Emergency Operations Center in Agartala, 37 houses were completely damaged, 125 were severely damaged and 454 houses were partially damaged.
According to reports, out of the eight districts in the country, Sipahijala district was the worst affected, with around 392 houses damaged, including 23 houses in Jampujala sub-division, 14 houses in Sonmura sub-division and 355 houses in Bishlegarh sub-division. are included. Apart from Sepahijala district, 14 houses were partially damaged in Unakoti, 124 houses in Dalai district, 21 houses in West district, 33 houses in Khawai, 24 houses in Gomti and only 8 houses were damaged in South district.
