New Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who was arrested in the Delhi Tax Policy scam case (Delhi Liquor Case), was not granted relief by the Supreme Court. The court hearing Kejriwal’s interim bail plea on Tuesday reserved its verdict. The Supreme Court had accepted the petition filed by the Enforcement Directorate questioning his arrest. Supreme Court Justices Sanjeev Khanna and Dipankar Dutta conducted the hearing. Abhishek Singhvi contested for AAP president and SV Raju for the Electoral Division.
SV Raju for ED and lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi for PAA presented their arguments. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the Supreme Court stayed the interim bail order of Arvind Kejriwal. Now, the Supreme Court will pass its verdict on Kejriwal’s interim bail on May 9.
