Bhaskar News Two day All India Karate Championship is being organized on 27th and 28th April at Karambir Navin Chandra Bordoli Indoor Stadium in Sarasgai, Guwahati, Janggir. 7 players from the district participated in it. On the first day of the competition, five players competed with players from different countries across the country. During this period, two bronze medals came to the account of the district. On the first day of the competition on Saturday, the district player Mamta Kashyap won the bronze medal when she finished third in the kata competition. Niyati Suryavanshi stood third in the event and received a bronze medal. Mamta Kashyap defeated the player from Meghalaya and got the third position in Kata, while Niyati Suryavanshi defeated the player from Arunachal Pradesh and got the third position in the battle. During this, Chhattisgarh Karate Association President Sushil Chandra, General Secretary Avinash Sethi, Technical Director Nitin Singh, Prateek Soni, Sanjay Kumar etc were present.
