Multiple verification for UG NEET exam on May 5 Achi-News

Achi news desk-City Correspondent The Ranchi NEET UG exam is on 5th May. To conduct the examination smoothly with transparency, multiple authentication, biometrics, e-KYC, student verification and various AI based tools are used. NTA has said that biometric tests will be done at the time of entry and exit for UG NEET. The exam will be conducted in offline paper mode. The National Testing Agency has started preparations for the non-misconduct audit. Students are prohibited from wearing shoes, full sleeved shirts, clothing with large buttons or tight clothing. Candidates can appear in the exam wearing jeans, salwar suit, long skirt, trousers, T-shirt, shirt. Candidates may wear shoes in the examination centres. It is not advisable to come wearing any kind of jewellery. The candidates’ admit card and identity card will be scanned using the QR code. The Senior Director of the NTA has said that this year for the first time in JEE Main, registrations were taken from the NTA Area Control Room after the exam started. All photographs and biometric data have been matched. The same process is followed in UG NEET as well. This year, for the first time, biometric checks will be done even when entering and exiting during breaks during the exam. This time a thumb impression will not be given at the examination centre.
