NEW DELHI: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge questioned Narendra Modi’s position on Buddhism in an interview. A follower of Buddhism, Kharge took a swipe at Modi by recalling the inauguration of the Buddha Vihar in Gulbarga, Karnataka in 2009, established by the Siddhartha Vihar Trust, of which he is the founder-chairman.
During the inauguration of Buddha Vihara, the then President Pratibha Patil participated in the inauguration ceremony. The Dalai Lama, a Buddhist priest, performed the Buddha Vihara’s Prana Pratishta. But Prana Pratistha Ram Mandir was completed by Prime Minister Modi. He expressed his anger that President Draupadi Murmu was not invited to this event.

BJP is not even close to Buddha
Buddha is considered as the 9th incarnation of Lord Vishnu, but they (BJP) don’t even come close to the Buddha.
