Ahead of the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for reservation. He accused Prime Minister Modi of secretly making reservations for Dalits, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes. The Congress leader said that Prime Minister Modi is taking reservation from backward classes by blindly implementing privatization. Rahul Gandhi said that his party promises to strengthen public sector enterprises and open doors of jobs for workers.
Rahul Gandhi’s allegations against Prime Minister Modi
A post on the social media platform further said, “Modi government is taking reservation from backward classes by implementing privatization blindly.”
Rahul further said, “In 2013, there were 14 lakh permanent jobs in the public sector, out of which only 8.4 lakh will remain till 2023. By destroying leading PSUs like BSNL, SAIL, BHEL, around six lakh permanent jobs have been lost from the public sector alone and these are the only positions in which Given the benefit of reservation the jobs that are eliminated through the back door by giving government jobs on contract are not counted.
