Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray was seen attacking his cousin and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray while addressing a rally on Saturday. He claimed that if BJP had accepted Uddhav’s demand for the post of Chief Minister of Maharashtra, he would not have said anything against the saffron party. He asked Uddhav Thackeray, if BJP had accepted your offer to share the post of Chief Minister for two and a half years, would you have said what you are saying today. Raj said- you were silent for power.
Raj Thackeray was addressing a rally to vote for Union Minister Narayan Rane, the BJP candidate from the Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg Lok Sabha constituency. During this, he justified his support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi by citing the construction of Ram temple and abrogation of Article 370 along with other reasons.
Ahead of the 2019 elections, Raj launched scathing attacks on Prime Minister Modi
Let us tell you that the MNS chief supported PM Modi in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, but before the 2019 elections, he made scathing attacks on the PM in rallies. At the same time, after the 2019 assembly elections, Uddhav Thackeray broke his decades-long alliance with the BJP as the BJP refused to share the CM’s post with him.
