There are 24 hours left to vote for the Lok Sabha elections and there is scorching heat in many districts of the country including Raipur. In most districts the temperature reached above or close to 40. Bemetra was the hottest in the country on Sunday. The temperature here has crossed 44 degrees.

The mercury in Raipur was 43.6 degrees and it was the hottest day of the season.
