Amroha (UP): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president Mayawati on Sunday accused Danish MP Ali, who after being suspended from BSP, is now contesting on a Congress ticket, of betraying the party and the people.
“We did not betray the Muslim community. When a Muslim person betrayed us, we did not punish the Muslim community, but this time too we gave the ticket to a Muslim candidate. I am sure that this time too you will make the BSP candidate win,” she said.
Mayawati added that BJP will not come to power at the Center easily this time.
“Their guarantees have no effect on the ground reality. They were only concerned with the protection of a few people and this information was revealed in the Electoral Bond that they run their organization with their support. They also politicized the central agencies. Amroha is famous not only for its execution but also for agriculture, but the government The present BJP has not cared for the farmers,” she alleged.
Mayawati said the condition of the minority Muslim community remains poor and pathetic. There is an atmosphere of panic and fear in this society because of BJP and Sangh.
She added that the free food items provided by the central government will not help.
Mayawati reiterated that the BSP will work to end the oppression of the Muslim community and added that strict measures will be taken for the safety of this community.
