The defendant also slit the throat of his 17-year-old son. After that, the same cruel father tried to commit suicide by puncturing a vein in his hand. The incident took place in Prabur in Kollam district.
The matter was discovered when relatives came home
The police said that relatives who live nearby arrived at the defendant’s house on Tuesday morning. The door was closed. They shouted loudly but the door did not open so the relatives broke the door of the house. As soon as the relatives entered the house, they were shocked. All four people were soaked in blood. Father Sirju (46) and son Shriraj (17) were in critical condition. The bodies of his wife Partha (39) and daughter Srinanda (12) were found there. It is feared that the entire incident took place on Monday night.
Father and son were hospitalized
The policeman said that the woman, daughter and son suffered neck injuries. We suspect that some toxic substance was administered to the woman and daughter. However, this can only be confirmed after the report arrives. He said that Shriraj’s surgery was done in a private hospital. Meanwhile, accused Sreeju was taken to Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. His condition is difficult.
