Controversy continues over Congress leader Vijay Vadtiwar’s statement regarding the killing of former Maharashtra ATS chief Hemant Karkara. Meanwhile, political analyst Tehseen Poonawala on Sunday urged all parties of the All India Alliance to put pressure on Vaditiwar to retract his statement. Poonawalla said the opposition alliance parties should ensure that Pakistan does not benefit from Wadtiwar’s statement.
According to him, the statement made by the leader of opposition of Maharashtra Vijay Vadtiwar is obscene and should be condemned. Poonawalla said, I urge all opposition parties to put pressure on him to withdraw this statement. Giving qualms to Pakistan in the Hemant Karkara murder case is unacceptable. 26/11 was a terrorist attack planned and carried out by the terrorist state of Pakistan.
Punnuwala said, Hamant Karkara gave his life for the tricolor and he was killed by terrorists like Ajmal Kasab, not by any person from India. Therefore, it is important that all parties in the opposition alliance not only come out aggressively against Vedtiwar’s statement but also ensure that Pakistan does not get any benefit from such statements.
