Mahindra & Mahindra is going to launch the XUV3XO in the sub-4 meter SUV segment in India tomorrow i.e. on 29th April. After the launch, this car will be the first subcompact SUV in Israel, which will be supplied with a panoramic sunroof. It will get a mileage of 20.1 kmpl. The Indian automaker has shared many features of the car through teasers.
It will come with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, a 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, connected car technology and climate control. With connected car technology, users will be able to control the AC from their smartphone. In this way, customers will be able to cool the passenger compartment before sitting in the car.
This car is the facelift of the Mahindra XUV300, which will now be introduced as the XUV3XO. The price of XUV3XO can start from Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom). In the segment it will compete with Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite Maruti Suzuki Swift and Toyota Urban Cruiser Tagger.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: Exterior design
This model will receive many cosmetic and feature upgrades compared to the current edition. The teaser gives a glimpse of the new connected taillights and bumper of the compact SUV. Mahindra has changed its tailgate to add a new lighting setup. Apart from Mahindra’s Twin Peak logo, it has also been given new ‘XUV 3XO’ badging.
The front sight of the car was completely new. It has triangular elements in a chrome finish on the front grill, which is flanked by a new headlight cluster. Apart from this, XUV 3XO will be provided with fang-shaped LED DRL, projector headlamp, fog lamp, electric sunroof and new design spoke alloy wheels.
Mahindra XUV 3XO : Interior
The company hasn’t revealed the full interior look of the Mahindra XUV300 facelift, but the teaser showed a glimpse of its new seat upholstery and its new touchscreen unit. Like the XUV400, the XUV 3XO will also have a 10.25-inch dual digital display (one for instrumentation and the other for infotainment), wireless phone charging and ventilated front seats.
It is estimated that the company can also provide it with a segment-first panoramic sunroof feature. For safety, it can be provided with many advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) features including 6 airbags, electronic parking brake, 360 degree camera.
4 engine options can be found in the XUV 3XO
The Mahindra XUV 3XO is expected to be offered with petrol and diesel engine options like the current model. This includes a 1.5-litre diesel engine, a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.2-litre turbo petrol direct injection (TGDI) engine. However, the car can also be supplied with a 1.2-liter TGDI turbo gasoline engine, which will come with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
